Baby mobile

Hello,

for sure I should be posting here more often. I seem to be loosing days and weeks lately. There's always too little time and too many things to do.
Do you have times like that too?

Anyway, today I wanted to show you a card I was requested to make for a baby girl's 1st birthday.

Jak zwykle mam spore zaległości w publikowaniu czegokolwiek. Nie wiem gdzie mi uciekają dni i tygodnie. Czy wy też tak macie?
Dzisiaj mam wam do pokazania całą różową karteczkę na pierwsze urodziny małej dziewczynki.

I decided to go  with a baby mobile theme and color pink.

I wanted to make the mobile really move so I've made my card into an easel card and fixed yellow foam stars and moon with a silver string so that they'll move when the card is open.

For the bacground  I've used my recently favourite technique - watercoloring with the Distress Inks. I'm seriously addicted to Distress Inks now :)
Here I've used Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry. I've added some drops of water and drops of silver glittery mist for extra texture.

I didn't have much space for a greeting with my design so  I've used a tiny polish greeting from Agateria. Another stamp from that company is used as a texture for all "wooden" elements.

Tutaj użyłam dwóch kolorów: Spun Sugar i Picked Raspberry.
Użyłam też dwóch stempelków od Agaterii - napisu i faktury drewna.
Also I've created a matching envelope using We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board.

Do karteczki powstała też pasująca koperta.
Jak wam sie podoba efekt końcowy?

Do you like it?
I'm entering this card for a challenge at Simon Says Stamp blog.

Rosy Owl challenge / Wyzwanie Rosy Owl

Dzisiaj mam do pokazania dwie karteczki świąteczne, obie z wykorzystaniem mojego najnowszego nabytku - wykrojnika Rosy Owl.

Pierwsza karteczka to tzw "shaker card". Wykorzystałam też dwa stempelki od Agaterii.

Kolejna to kartka "sztalugowa" z ruchomą bombką. (Idealna szerokość by wyciąć z niej napisy.)

Above I'm showing you two cards that I'm entering for Rosy Owl challenge. Rosy Owl is a first polish company making steel dies. Check them out :)
I've also used stamp from Agateria - the penguin and wood grain from the first card and paper pack from dpCraft, designed by Karola Witczak and some decorative tape from Dekoracyjna Taśma.

Jagoda

"Urodziła się w piękne jesienne popołudnie
14 listopada 1996 r o godzinie 15.15

Można jej go umylić wysyłając kartkę.

Moja kartka to połączenie matariałów z dwóch wspaniałych źródeł: stempelek z Agaterii oraz elementy z ostatniego kitu Polish Kit Project.

Stempelek odbiłam wielokrotnie i skleiłam warstwami aby nadać mu wrażenia  przestrzenności.

I choć sam papier miał już czarne kropeczki to dodatkowo skropiłam go zawartym w kicie czarnym tuszem.
Jak Wam się podoba efekt końcowy?

The card pictured above is a gift for a special girl for her 18th birthday.
To make it I've used material from two amazing companies - Agateria and Polish Kit Project.
I've stamped the image several times and layered it to give it some dimension. For the clothes I've used paper from the kit. Another paper I've used for the background adding a bit of black specks with the black dye (also from the kit).

How do you like the result?

When the right stamp is just not there...

I'm often requested to create a card not only for a certain person but also with a certain motive. But what to do when your collection lacks a stamp appropriate for what you want to create?

Well, of course the best source for almost anything is the Internet. There are so many digital stamps you can find online. And a great number of them is free. All you need to do is search. And if digital stamps are not enough you can always try to find a free coloring book. It is such a beautiful source of simple b&w images you could use as a sort of digi stamp.

The cards I want to show you today were all made using such images.
Take a look.

This card was for 14th birthday of a girl whose everyday life is based on every possible kind of sport. The card needed to be sport related too, but of course I don't own any appropriate stamps so I've found the roller girl image online - free coloring page.
The pattern papers used here as well as the brads are from one of the Back To Basic collection.
The sentiment stamps comes form polish store Agateria.

This one was for a 5th birthday of a boy whose love are numbers. Of course all stamps in my collection are basically meant for girls. I've found a coloring page of a boy with a skateboard and changed that part with a number five.
For the background I've used stamp from another polish store Lemonade.

The above card is one of my favourites. I just love how bright and colorful the rainbow turned out. I've used probably every button and sequin I have in my stash :-)

The images from this three cards above were all colored using Letraset Promarkers.

Don't you think this one is cute? Made especially for my "work-brother". We both love The Despicable Me movies so the obvious choice was to use minions for his card. You know were they come from? I've found a free activity page on McDonald's website. Printed it several times and colored with colored pencils and mineral spirit. Googly eyes were a must :-D

The last card I have for today is probably my all time favorite. The train image is once again a coloring page I've found online. But both cake and presents are actual clear stamps. Present stamp is from G-studio and the cake is an amazing stamp from Agateria (love it!!!) Also the wood texture stamps is from Agateria. All the images and and the background were colored using Distress inks.

Wow. That's a long post, isn't it?
Love,

Mother's day

This is the card that is going to be a gift for my Mom on Mother's Day (26th May here).
Right when I've noticed this stamp from Agateria I knew it has to be a focal image of my card for Mom. It kind of reminds me of me and my kitty.

The rest of the card is made with three colors of washi tape that went well with the main image, eyelets and a ribbon.

Here's the inside.

This stamp comes from Agateria as well.

I'm putting this card for two challenges:
May challenge at Agateria
And Mother's Day challenge at The Pink Elephant

Have a nice weekend
