Valentine's Mailbox

It's long past Valentine's Day but I still have one more project to share with you.
It was my gift for my Sunshine.
The general idea and template for this cute mailbox came from this amazing blog: http://damasklove.blogspot.com/2011/02/valentines-day-project-3.html
Now the details:

The little bee idea came from this picture: http://bellaconfetti.blogspot.com/2010/06/more-punch-art-animals.html, though I modified the design to fit the punches I had. As for the idea of decorated paper clips - it's based on http://whiffofjoy.blogspot.com/2012/01/special-paper-clips-in-decorated-glas.html.

The altered binder clips idea is from this blog http://scraptime.ca/blogpage/?p=472. The little bee on the binder clip is a magnet.

Be sure to check out all the mentioned places for more creative inspiration.

Bloody valentines.

I made an agreement with my friend - he will take care of my blog, make it professional and cool and as a reward I will make a card for him.
For now I did my part. (Sun - you'd better make my blog beautiful! :D)
He requested a valentine's day card based on arlequin's outfit. With blood spatters. An unusual request for a valentine's day card, don't you think?
Went for a sort of shabby look, hence the imperfect diamond design (white embossing powder and masking technique) and Ranger's Crackle accents. Because of lack of other medium blood spatters are made form diluted nail polish.
The card is designed to hold a small CD inside.

Decoupage aperture card

A card I made with my boyfriend for his mum's birthday.
Simple, easy and fast to make. The most time consuming thing was to cut out and put together a bunny decoupage (decoupage shits from docrafts Creativity magazine).
Papers are from Echo Park Paper (Happy Days). And the aperture is made with Fiskars ShapeCutter.

75th anniversary of solemn vows

My father asked me to make a card for a nun from his family, an aunt or something. She's just celebrating her 75th anniversary of solemn vows. She's 99 and partially blind so I decided for a card to be a little bigger than the one's I usually make (A5 instead of A6).
Also all the embellishments are bigger. Hope she sees something...

I embossed the black cardstock with black embossing powder. Cut out the numbers from cardstock and embossed them with gold embossing powder. Added some flowers, brads and golden ribbon.
Not my usual style, but the recipient is special too :)

The new girl in town

I've been thinking about having a blog for some time now. With encouragement from my loved one finally put that plan into action.
So what are you going to see here?
Basically stuff that I make from paper. For now on mostly cards. Time will tell in which way this creative passion grows.
Wish me luck :)

Oh, why in English? Why not! Let's just say I prefer it to Polish. :)
