Thank you!

This two thank you cards were made as gift for my cousin and a dear friend of mine. From both I received some gorgeous gift and surprises.

This one was made entirely from Up, up & away papers by First edition and was totally inspired by them. As soon as I saw the circular frame as a part of one of the papers I knew I'll be using it as a central element in my card.

This one was inspired by one of the cards from http://stamptv.ning.com/. Made it with papers from Portobello Road collection that were a gift in docrafts Creativity magazine, issue 33.

Welcome baby girl

This cute card was requested by my cousin. It finally gave me a chance to use baby stampset (by Viva decor) I've bought just because it was so adorable.

Clothes were colored with Promarkers and paper pieced to give them some dimension. Sky behind them is done by me with Ranger's Distress Ink. Light pink paper is from Marianne design Pretty Papers Bloc - Soft Pastels and the dark pinks are from DCWV The Mini Stack 3.

The inside greeting was computer generated and uses one of amazing digistamps from http://melonheadzillustrating.blogspot.com/ <-check them out. There are tons of ever so cute freebies to use :)

The girl in the stamp is also colored with Promarkers and paper pieced

What do you think?

Holy Communion

This project was requested by a friend of mine. He wanted a card for a girl's First Holy Communion.
I wanted to do something different than usual flowers and lace. I decided to go with one of Gorjuss clear stamps - Purrfect Pals. I truly adore this one. The girl is so cute.
Done a bit of 3D paper piecing and for the first time in my life used alcohol based markers - newest addition to my crafty supplies (Promarkers by Letraset - a gift for my birthday) Love them! Though I need to buy myself an ink that doesn't bleed in contact with them :P

Love,

Fonchito y la luna

The card I have for you today was inspired by an awesome book by Mario Vargas Llosa - Fonchito y la luna. I fell in love with that book the moment I've read it. Immediately it became an idea for an anniversary gift for my boyfriend. I wanted to show him the Moon too :*

And I did show him the Moon - I took him to the planetarium.
